Privacy Policy
This is our “Privacy Policy” which sets out the policy which governs our use of information you provide in connection with the SecurityBot services. The terms “you” and “your” refer to all individuals or entities using SecurityBot services. The terms “we”, “us”, and “our”, refer to the SecurityBot Developer Team and “bot” refers to our Discord bot itself.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes in our Privacy Policy will be effective immediately. If you are a regular user of our services, we recommend that you check this Privacy Policy on a regular basis. By using any of our services, you consent to the collection, use and transfer of your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy, immediately stop your use of the bot.
Consent
By using any of the services that SecurityBot provides, you agree that you have read and agree to this Privacy Policy.
Storage of Data
The bot requires the collection and storage of some specific user or Discord guild (“Discord server”) data (“Data”) for functionality. The Data includes, but is not limited to:
- Discord server IDs
- Settings for a Discord server
- User IDs
- Encrypted passwords
The Data is stored in a PostgreSQL database. The database is secured to prevent external access, however no guarantee is provided and we assume no liability for an unintentional or malicious breach of Data. In the event of unauthorized Data access, users will be notified through the Discord client application.
Usage of Data
The Data stored above is used to ensure the complete functionality of the bot including, but not limited to:
- Saving Discord server settings
- Protecting a Discord server from malicious attacks
Any usage of Data by 3rd-party sites or services will only be allowed if the usage of Data would provide more protection to both their users and our users. Your encrypted passwords will never be shared with a 3rd-party site or service.
User Rights
At any time, you have the right to request to view the Data pertaining to your Discord account. You may submit a request through the Discord Server. You have the right to request the removal of relevant Data.
